Visual Arts

This portion of the facility will emphasize painting, sculpture, bronze and metalworks and other creations of the artists. The rooms will feature instruction and art display. Art display be permanent or on rotation. Children and adults will be welcome to take classes and learn of the Italian American genius in the field of visual arts. Here we will also house a program for graphic arts and the commercial application of graphics. Use of computer technology, central to the commercial art world today, will be available and taught. Artists will be invited to show their work. Artists will also be invited to teach classes on the creative and the historical.

EXHIBITION HALL:

A mosaic of culture. A hall is planned for the facility that will allow for large exhibits. Traveling music exhibits can take place here. Special art showings of Italian American artists will be scheduled here. This hall will have great versatility and can be used for many events and purposes with no single theme. There will be decoration in the hall but it will be appointed to allow for the most uses possible. Multicultural events will be invited to exhibit here. There may be rentals of the facility for fundraisers, private parties, and special gatherings. Similar to receptions at the Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum, we will host special events and private gatherings.
