A modern 250-300 seat performing arts center will be built within the facility. It will include modern lighting, sound and acoustics. It is the firm passion of the foundation that through the performing arts, we learn and begin to love and appreciate the contributions of other ethnic and racial groups and individuals. Through the celebration of these performances we can achieve a better appreciation of each other. A more enlightened people means a more understanding people, and a more loving people. What better way to bridge people than through the pleasant experience of a delightful presentation of a beautiful song or a whimsical dance. The world’s greatest playwrights have often been the world’s greatest philosophers, too. These productions of music, lyrics, dialogue and monologue are the gifts which we intend to share with our great city and our great community.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE ACADEMY

The languages of our people are what join us and separate us. The foundation plans a language program for the Italian languages and many other languages. All language is taught within a cultural context so that the teaching of the languages also exposes the students to the local culture, history and customs of the country where the language is spoken.

Funding will be sought from the government of Italy and Italian organizations and companies for the Italian cultural programs. Again, the commitment is focused on the building of bridges between people and their cultures. A better understanding of the variety of cultures creates a better appreciation and respect for its peoples.
